Agh, it's been another 2 weeks! Please forgive me. I've been working on starting a photoblog for my lil photography biz. I'm trying to do too many things at once, but what the hey - that's the story of my life! Soooo, in 17 days summer will 'officially' be here!! Are you ready!? Or are you already wish your kids were back in school? :)

I'm starting this homage to summer trail off with a lovely beach picture by zuppaarista. I sssssseriously want to be there. Right there. Right now.

Now that we have that out of the way, I have no excuse. I have been a total trail slacker. I haven't posted in a week & 4 days! Eeeek! I wish I could say I have been on vacation or something, but I can not lie. I've just been lazy... and extremely bust taking weird pictures of myself in public restrooms.

Once I went to the DMV here for a license renewal and this sweet (or so I thought) little old man who worked there made me take a signs test. I didn't think I had to, so I didn't study and I was a little worried. When I got done taking it he cracked up laughing and told me I didn't have to do it - he just made me because he thought it was funny. Great story, huh? Sooooo, phenomenon1859 hearts only 1 item. This vintage 1977 Dog Tax tag from Talula.

The title of this item reads. Bless the Beasts and the moment I read that, I got this song stuck in my head.

I'm not so sure I agree with the "children have no voice" line. my 3 1/2 year old son definitely has a voice, especially when he's cranky.

It's this adorable Green Grass Enamel Heart Necklace from baydesign!

Details: A vibrant coloured pendant, created here in the studio from copper which has had numerous layers of enamel applied and fired for this graduated effect. The green pendant has a tonal variation, adding a three dimensional quality. The heart measures approx. 1.8cm x 1.8cm and hangs from an 44cm antiqued copper toned chain.

These Sterling Paperclip Earrings by erinjanedesigns! I work in an office and once when I was frustrated, I banged my head on the desk and accidentally stuck a paperclip through my eyebrow... but I've never thought of putting them in my ears, how clever!

So with purchasing a house and becoming an adult, I had to buy a lawn mower. Last week was my first time using it and my first time ever mowing grass.(Gasp!) I know it is shocking, but my dad has an obsession with mowing grass and would never let me or my brother touch the lawn mower growing up.

My first pick is this awesome shirt from mediumcontrol that is a good thing to sport when you are mowing the grass or when you are thinking about mowing the grass.

Keeping with the foliage theme, medium control hearts TortoiseLovesDonkey. Not only is their Etsy name fabulous, but so are their plants in a jar.

Since I found out that my birthday was National Pigs in a Blanket Day, I've been really interested in these unique holidays. For instance, did you know that today is National Pretzel Day? My goodness, I looooove me some pretzels. My favorite kind are the warm fresh out of the oven ones - dipped in mustard. Although I've never tried them, I'm sure I'd love the Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods that Sweet Jenn sells on Etsy. Mmmmm!

You know what Sweet Jenn likes? This cute Owl Snuggly pillow by Stelabird.

You know what Stelabird loves? This very purrrrdy kitten necklace by thelovelyteaspoon. I'm gonna be perfectly honest right now and tell you that cats really freak me out. I have an irrational fear. I'd rather share my bed with an owl.

I wonder if thelovelyteaspoon is a cat lover... you know what she does love? This very unique and interesting Bleeding Bear Shirt by yonashi. I think this shirt would be great for a camping trip. It really sends a "don't try to eat me or I will hurt you" message to bears.

Yonashi loves these Isaiah Garza Collection Sunglasses by IsaiahGarza himself. How badass are these, I mean really! And they are actually functionable, not just fashionable!

You know what Isaiah Garza loves? I don't, because he doesn't have anything listed!

If cats, bears or even owls scare you, I assure you that wearing a bleeding bear shirt and badass Isaiah Garza glasses will deter them from attacking. But just to be safe, keep a pretzel handy so you can trade it for your life.

THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY! How about we just find a wheelbarrow, and you guys push me along today's trail? Today's theme will be a bit different....we'll follow hearts from shop to shop looking for things we should be grateful for. Starting with this item that I gave a heart to... (for non Etsians, the term giving a heart means that I marked the item as one of my favorites.)
